Dear Canonical Ltd, I'm just gonna say this straight-up, that dropping the Unity desktop was the dumbest choice you've ever made. And here are the reasons why according to me. 1. Unity is Unity  Remember back then when Unity was introduced in Natty Narwhal (11.04) ? Back then the desktop was not as lean and as polished as how Unity in Xenial Xerus used to be. People hated the change and started their tweaks and forks here and there. But all these times going through the years, I got fond of the desktop and adore the focused workflow. Unity was the desktop where I put myself first at east, without worrying how the gtk theme crashes, looks bad, looks inconsistent, and so on. It didn't get in my way, and it's always been like that. Unity gives people the charm that this is UBUNTU, this is what's friendly, and this is what's POLISHED and PROFESSIONAL.  Hey guys! Akhirnnya aku kembali membuat postingan blog setelah sekian lama sibuk dengan kesibukan dan pekerjaan sehari-hari. Secara gak langsung, kalian yang menggunakan Ubuntu, Linux Mint, dan semua turunannya pasti sudah tidak asing dengan Debian karena dia adalah fondasi dasar yang diambil Ubuntu. Halo!  Pada postingan ini, aku ingin memberikan sebuah tips untuk kalian para pengguna komputer / laptop yang sedang mengalami dilema dengan operating system kalian yang aku asumsikan sekarang adalah Windows. Yep, Microsoft Windows. Halo teman-teman! Sudah lama sekali saya ga sempat update blog lagi karena emang sudah sibuk, di kala jaman SMK juga banyak ujian dan try out jadi nggak sempat megang blog sama sekali dan sebenarnya mau kasih update. My vanilla Debian 9.0 (Stretch) Gnome Desktop Hey guys! Actually, this was not my first time moving to Linux, because I had used one few times during middle January to April 2015, and 2 years before it. Today, I had installed my Debian 9.0 over Linux Mint 18.1 (Serena) On June 2013, my laptop was broken, and the sad thing was because it was a high end laptop that my mum had bought 4 years before. So, as a break, we bought a low-end old pc one for like 1 million rupiah and the specs weren't that good either. It couldn't even run windows xp well, so that's why I decided to turn the way out. Hey guys, hey ho! Yet, another day, I never expected that I would be ill today, and it was really bad. Last night, my throat was really sore but I still could speak well and had a rehearsal about my speech for tomorrow *which was today* Science class. But the bad thing is, when Science class came, I couldn't speak at all and my voice sounded like a strangled horse :(  So I decided to get a school permit to go home, but yeah unlucky me, the school's counseling teacher didn't allow me to go back home (but when my girl friend asked the same permit, but due to different reason to visit her future college, she was allowed, man!) Hey guys! So yesterday, I drew a birthday cake sketch for Cake Decoration class. And this is what I have so far. It's mostly decorated by buttercream, I choose buttercream because I like to use it on my cake. What I need to learn more is how to make those flowers (other than roses) and the leaves. For the color, I'd like to have it with a soft color scheme combination, which I think it will be super good!
